Feels like top grain, really soft. Super durable. Photo is after 4 months of hard construction work. The wedge sole is preferred. It seems to add life to the boots and adds comfort while walking. Heel rubbed for about 2 days when I got them but the whole boot quickly conforms to your feet and fits like a glove. I recommend.
