Do they actually cut food items with skin such as cucumber, zucchini, and squash?** A: The knives are not sharp to the touch. Your child isn’t going to cut themselves by touching the blade. They will cut soft skin vegetables. I wouldn’t use this to chop up a butternut squash. We’ve tried fruit and cucumbers. The other thing is the blades are quite thick. My son first used them on strawberries. Some got a bit mangled looking but he still had fun. **Q: What size are the recipe cards?** A: I believe 3x5 maybe 4x6. **Q: Dishwasher safe?** A: Disappointed in quality of product, it was returned after inspecting when received --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pe/products/47028522-masterchef-junior-kids-knife-and-cutting-board-set-real-tools](https://www.desertcart.pe/products/47028522-masterchef-junior-kids-knife-and-cutting-board-set-real-tools) --- *Product available on Desertcart Peru* *Store origin: PE* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
