This cupholder is deep enough, sturdy enough and big enough for my BRRR and Hydroflask bottles while tooling down the road in a bouncy motorhome. I needed a cup holder to fit a 3 1/2 hole. The specs show that the ID diameter is 3 1/2" I took a chance that the plastic would not be too thick. I lost on that point, but it was easy enough to enlarge the hole with a dremel and a sanding cylinder, and the lip hides the less that perfect sanding marks. Also, it is not tapered like it looks in the photo. It has a consistent diameter from top to bottom. Here are the measurements from the one I received.
