Recently found an old red band and it’s still like new **Q: Is this one long band or one band with several short sections? Would "gold" be an appropriate strength to use for a horse - hindquarters rehab.** A: it is one continuous 18 foot roll. As for horses, I doubt if any of this type of band will be strong enough to give a horse useful resistance. Good luck in your rehab. **Q: Is it suitable for a catapult or sling shot ?** A: Because of its width, a catapult is possible. Sling shot? Unless it's really a LARGE base unlikely because of it's width. Hm... How about cutting two long (7-8") pieces about .5" attached to your leather pouch and sling. I always found taconite pellets work well and cheap, if you are near a processing/distribution point. I used to give kids gum balls, but the quality of gum balls is terrible (so hard they are unchewable). I found a couple old jars and my grandkids are using them as ammo.
