The thermistor is different and simpler device and is not a semiconductor device. It's resistance changes with temperature. **Q: Would the 9v 1a adapter come eu according to my shipping address?** A: Most adapters are capable of 100-240v 50/60hz input. Looking at the specs on the adapter will tell you this. I have not purchased my kit yet but am about to and will report back which one I get. That said, you can also use a 12v DC adapter as well. If you compare the photos, you'll see they're all the same - the DVD's even have the same color and font. You should make your selection based on price - the difference can be 50% or more. The price for REXQualis was better than the others and had the identical components.
