I wasn’t about to shell out several hundred dollars on a new phone just so he could watch cartoons, so I gave this a try.A few things to be aware of:- this is a pretty involved project. It won’t be as simple as disconnecting the old screen and putting a new one on. You have to be comfortable with disassembling the internal contents of the phone. You don’t have to be experienced at it, but just know this isn’t a ten minute project.- go to YouTube for how to videos, this comes with no instructions. I used a video by “that snazzy iPhone guy”. Following video instructions may be easier than written because there are so many steps.- plan on needing space to sort screws and parts. Your iPhone has a zillion little screws in there and yes, you will not only need to take them all out you will need to keep track of them because of course- each has a specific spot.- If you have a small jeweler’s screwdriver that makes this much easier. ### ⭐ Really? I was going thru my junk, because I knew I had an old iPhone laying around, that I wanted to use for workouts, and to simply use as an iPod... well, I knew it had a shattered screen -- so I ordered one from URSEND... I wasn't expecting the best - "you get what you pay for!", right? I mean, it wasn't gonna be my primary smartphone anyway... so why not!I received it in a timely manner, but when I opened it to start the replacement process, I noticed each corners of the display had internal checking [see pics].The first thing I thought was: 'oh well, must be frost from how cold it is here... BUT I'M IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!! HOW CAN THERE BE SNOW AT SEA LEVEL!?!?!?!?I'm still gonna replace the screen [since I've already disassembled the old one] and post pics of what this type of poor quality product would look like powered up -- just so you guys can learn from my poor, purchase decision...Be weary of URSEND... hopefully they'll see this review, and decides to send me a new screen... because that's the ONLY way get me to disassemble this display once more...Oh, and one other thing...Overall Rating?
