When combined with a vertically interlaced image they create the flip effect which tricks your eye into seeing an image transition from one to another. Also can be used for 3D Effect. Lens Quirks: Lenticular Sheets are made from very tough PETG plastic. However this plastic can scratch very easily. Almost all lenticular sheets have small scratches which happens during movement of the sheets during manufacturing and transport. Every effort is made to reduce scratching, but they do happen. Take care when handling to reduce the amount of wear on the sheets.Silvering is what happens when small air pockets get caught between optically clear tape and the surface of the clear plastic sheet. Special care is taken when applying the optically clear tape to the lenticular sheet, but some small air pockets can occur. This is a good question, but unfortunately the answer is no. We have tried using a cricut maker machine using various cutters and configurations, but none of them are able to cut through these lenses. The cricut is just not able to apply enough force to cut through lenticular sheets and most PET plastic sheets. If you need to cut basic shapes scissors can work, but the cuts can be a bit rough. if the cuts are straight then a guillotine cutter works best. Hope that helps **Q: Why isn't my pitch test working? I want to rate this product, especially since the shipping speed is excellent, but my pitch tests fail.** A: Thanks for your question. The lenticular sheets that you purchased are 50LPI sheets and we measure the pitch to be 49.95 however that can vary slightly by your individual printer. I don't know how you create your pitch test, we use Masterkit which you can get a free demo version of online. Regardless the pitch test should never fail, the idea is to find the correct pitch.
