But it is still half full. I found a work around - one is complicated, one is simple (if it works). The issue is with the internal RFID that sits just behind the label; if it isn't pressed against the side of the cartridge, the CatGenie can't read it because it is not close enough to the sensor.#1 Simple Trick: Try shaking the cartridge and tapping it on the counter in the upright position, this should make the fluid inside push the pouch against the side.#2 More elaborate "trick": if #1 doesn't work, then buy two of these cartridges. Put the full one into the machine and start the cycle. Once the cycle starts, swap the full cartridge with the half-empty cartridge and it will just continue and complete the cycle using the half-empty cartridge. Timing is critical. Experiment with when to swap the cartridges and swap them quickly. Have one in hand ready to insert as you pull the cartridge out so that you can drop in the half-empty one immediately.I think these tricks work with all the cartridges - if you are having this issue.
