Review: Maximum Immersion! - Bought this to use it with my Vive Pro Eye, and it didn’t disappoint, the tracking is very good, with hiccups only occurring every now and then. But the hiccups can be fixed very fast, and easily, so no complaining about that really. The only real complaint I have is that it “attaches” to the headset using a sticky substance, which is most likely going to wear off after some time. If anyone has troubles with the tracker being janky, or not working 100% I would suggest changing USB's or making sure there isn't too much happening in your USB connections. If you’re going to try to use it with VrChat, may run into issues there. I haven’t found a way for it to work yet, but currently trying to find workarounds to it. But the index does not have mounting holes for the tracker so be prepared to use some sort of tape (I used the good ol’ duct tape), or people have made 3D printed mounts to put onto the front of the index. The facial tracker has a USB-C, so you’re going to need a USB-C to USB adapter to plug into the front of the Index. **Q: Can you connect this to a quest 2 or will it not be compatible with it?** A: Will work if you use the Quest 2 as a PCVR headset, but not as a standalone. The mounting can work, but I opted to 3d print a rhino mount for the camera so it can sit more firm using the index's already built in face plate slot. The sticky pads can work if you don't move around like crazy like I do normally.
