The Wagner PaintStick EZ Roller is great for painting walls and ceilings 2X faster than a manual roller and with less mess. The paint roller eliminates the need for messy roller trays by holding up to 22 oz. of paint directly in the handle. Using the roller is simple. Simply attach the fill tube to your paint can, press EZ Roller fill valve onto the tube, pull back on the plunger, then squeeze the trigger to directly feed paint to the 9” X 3/8” roller cover. You can paint a 7’ X 10’ area in a single fill, allowing you to quickly transform an entire kitchen, living room, bedroom and more without having to stop and reload the roller with a messy roller tray. Review: Great product. - This thing is a game changer. I was excited to get a sprayer but quickly realized spraying in a house is rarely an option. So i got this roller. I get almost no drips. Like maybe 3-4 little drips 1/3 of the size of a dime if i paint an entire room! I mean thats hard to beat. And one fill of the tube will paint the majority of 15 foot of wall give or take a foot or 2. And it works flawlessly. And the special roller covers you buy for this are cheap. Like $4 each here on desertcart. No downside to this little baby. I think it is pretty straight forward to clean it afterwards. And breaks down a little if you are packing it away in a truck or car. People that give a negative review are doing something wrong or using too thin a paint or something. You do have to clean it well after every use and put Vaseline on the 2 or 3 rubber parts so they dont dry and crack. But if you do that you will paint like a pro. The only thing is you will go thru some paint. Rollers in general suck up a lot of paint and this soaks up that much more. So if you have 1 gallon and hope to paint 1 wall then you might just opt for a regular roller. But if you have 2 to 5 gallons and are painting an entire room it is an absolute necessity

There was just a tube to draw the paint from the can. No lid for the can. However it was easy to draw up the paint into the can and splashing was really no issue. I was very surprised how easy this was to use and clean up. Easier to use than the prior paint sticks I used. I would definitely use this again

**Q: Can i use this for wallpaper glue?**
A: I wouldn’t recommend it. Wallpaper paste is too thick for the small holes in the roller.

**Q: Can you use oil based paints with this?  I'm specifically using a mixture of 50% linseed oil and 50% pine tar**
A: Oil based paints are fine in the Smart SideKick. We don't have any idea how pine tar will affect it, but it sounds like trouble. Clean immediately after use with mineral spirits. Good luck with your projects. Call for more help at 1-800-328-8251.

**Q: Is the Roller cover assembly for sale ? I lost mine**
A: Yes, Amazon lists several roller covers for the unit.  Just be sure it's for "power" roller and specify desired nap length.

**Q: Will this work well on an acoustic blown on ceiling?**
A: The blown ceiling material can start walling off when it gets wet with spraying. Using a roller is going to make a mess, had a friend try that. It ended up as having to remove all the blown ceiling. Blown ceiling has a terrible bonding capability if wet at all. I have had some ceilings done in a commercial building and the painter used a fogging type sprayer with 2-3 coats, drying in between coats. Blown ceilings are only good for the builder!

After seeing this all over the internet I was extremely disappointed. The paint stick I received was defective and did not suck up paint when it was pulled. It is also very hard to clean after use. I had such high hopes for this but very gimmicky.
