Made out of durable plastic, good product
You can also use the finger tip toothbrushes from the baby section of stores. They aren't as durable as these. The plastic is thicker on these than for the baby ones. They work great for a small breed dog. I do not have a regular or large breed dog so I cannot say if they would work as well.

Perfect Size for My Cat
I like the two-sided design. Only the small side of the Pet Republique Cat and Dog Toothbrush works with my cat, obviously, but it's the perfect size for her. Here's a tip: I used Virbac CET Enzymatic Toothpaste, Tarter Control, Seafood Flavor and my cat loves it. Start by giving your cat a finger-full of toothpaste as a treat. Do this for a few days, then offer the toothpaste on the brush. The cat will lick it off the brush. Again, try this for a few more days. Then, repeat but add a little brushing action. The cat might squirm or protest, so keep the session very short and gradually increase over time. My cat is now allowing me to brush her teeth (and she's very skittish!) This brush, combined with the right toothpaste, is a win-win. Virbac C.E.T. Enzymatic Toothpaste, Tartar...

Make brushing your dogs teeth easy
These have made brushing my puppies teeth so much easier. Before I was using a cheap hotel toothbrush that wasn’t too rough but I couldn’t feel if I was actually brushing the outside of the teeth. With the finger brush though I can feel exactly where I am brushing and I can brush food items (or anything he deems “edible” 🙄) off his teeth much easier. I usually just brush with coconut oil but since he is still young (7 months) it has been a battle trying to shove a toothbrush in his mouth with a delicious taste on it. He will just try to chew on the thing instead of letting me brush with it. Its easier to have some control when brushing with a finger brush and I can also get it done faster. I ordered the regular size for him and it fits well in his mouth. The only complaint I have is I wish these would come in a smaller FINGER size or have an elastic piece near the base so it stays on easier. I put it on my index finger and it is rather loose so I have to hold it with my thumb while in his mouth so it won’t twist or fall off; I’ve also wrapped my finger with first aid tape to make it fit better and that works too. It would probably fit on my husbands finger but lord knows he won’t brush the dogs teeth! Overall I’m happy with it though and it’s made a daily routine a little easier.

I love using these to brush my dogs teeth
I love using these to brush my dogs teeth. I have bought many different types of toothbrushes for my dog and they all failed. This is the only one that is easy to use and my dog doesn't mind me using this on her. Also I have tried different toothpaste and dont care for them, I have used coconut oil for brushing her teeth and she loves it. I just take coconut oil thats a little firm and fill the bristle up with it and brush her teeth. Its fun for her and not a chore anymore.

Who knew doggie toothbrushing was so easy!
Finger toothbrush to effectively and easy clean the dog's teeth and gums and it works! Fits on the finger perfectly and doesn't slide off, paired with a little doggie toothpaste all you have to do is gently start massaging the outer teeth and move around puppy's mouth until you reach the other side. Seems a bit awkward at first, and it's hard to say how much debris is really removed but it sure made me feel like I was doing something positive for our dog. Once the dog relaxed and realized the toothpaste actually tasted yummy, we had a good time in our 7 minute brushing session. After cleaning and drying the brush, it was stowed to be used again. Our new weekly ritual has begun and just needs to be faithfully continued. Orthodontia isn't in my doggie budget and I'm hoping teeth cleaning will be kept to a minimum with this intervention. Definitely worth trying on your dog too.

My dogs love these brushes!
I have two Boston Terriers, Molly is a year old 14 lb. and Luna is 4.5 months old. I have been brushing their teeth since they were tiny and taught them to brush by themselves with supervision. These toothbrushes can really stand up to small dog, aggressive chewing and not once have they been able to rip out the bristles or break off the plastic which actually feels more like nylon so these are not brittle. I use chicken flavored Virbac, the only paste they love and they come running when I ask if they want to brush their teeth! They have 100% pure white teeth! They actually hold the brush between their paws and work it all around their teeth chewing on the brush while it brushes their teeth. These were a great teething device too and it tuffened up their gums so no issues with bleeding gums. This is by far the strongest, best toothbrush I have tried, the pups love them and get very excited when they see them. I would not leave them unsupervised with them just in case, especially a bigger dog but I highly recommend these brushes and I will always keep them on hand. I get about two weeks out of one then replace it.

Just Doggone Smiling
Recently purchased this tooth brush set, and I must say I am quite happy I did. These are really great toothbrushes -- and they are quite flexible to use. I like the long handle length & dual-ends, because the small end lets you work on front (smaller) teeth and with an easy flip-of-the-fingers the larger end reach ably cleans the larger (back) molars.Such a great addition to my dog's oral care regime.Thank You, Pet Republique for a great product & your "caring-cost-proceeds" towards our furry-friends!Me and my 2 pets ... are just doggone smiling!

CLUNKY, not good for little dog mouths or average sized fingers.
Not good for little dog mouths or average sized fingers. These are HUGE. Like 4x-5x the size of a thimble. The circumference of the finger cot was just about the size of a quarter coin and did not fit snugly at all. My thumb didn't even fit inside the finger part--it was still too loose and clunky. But I tried one anyway, it didn't fit (obviously), and my 7 lbs chihuahua absolutely hated it. The bristles are also not uniform (as advertised). See images attached.
