Love it.
It has to get hot for secondary combustion to start, so there's a minute warm-up. After that, 3 feet of 1/2" or smaller twigs will cook your breakfast and make your coffee.

Cute but needs tending
For the price I was happy to give this a try. Very sturdy, and very easy to clean. I used hardwood pellets, which gave a great smokeless flame, but died out often. Perhaps it's just a learning curve on my part, it might do better with real wood. To my surprise, after I thought it had gone out, I went to bed, and the next morning planned on cleaning it out. Nearly burned myself! The pellets had banked in the ashes, and the unit was still hot to the touch. So again, I need more experience. I'm very happy with it.

Fun and effective little stove
Pretty much everything the other reviewers are saying about this stove is accurate. It works well, is fun to use, and is reasonably sturdy for the ridiculously low price it's selling for...but be aware that whatever cookware you use with it (and anything that touches said cookware until it is washed—hands, clothing, etc.) will be completely covered in soot from the flame despite the comparatively clean secondary combustion process.I tried this out on a recent car camping trip and really enjoyed it. To be effective it needs to be tended almost constantly, but when it's being fed it puts out a lot of heat and there's something pleasantly meditative about collecting the twigs and feeding them into the fire. I bought a folding windscreen to use with it and it did seem to help with the heating efficiency, and also had the added benefit of turning it into a personal space heater for those cold mornings. The construction quality is adequate but not great...but expecting anything more at this price point would be delusional.Due to its relatively substantial weight I will probably never bring it on a serious backpacking trip (this weighs as much as my backpacking stove plus a couple large containers of isopro fuel), but I'm very happy with the purchase and will definitely be bringing it on future car camping and canoeing trips, and maybe even overnight backpacking trips if I'm not packing too light.

Lighter than my gas stove and just as quick
35 seconds to set up and 2 cups of water boiling from the time I struck the match. Weighs 2 ounces less than my whisper-light stove & fuel. I have permanently replaced my gas stove and will be ordering two more for family.

Awesome!
The media could not be loaded. Worth the money ofcourse! Cheaper than mesa stoveI chopped about 1/4 of a small birch wood fire wood into small pieces.Keep the center of the inside open so that the air comes from bottom up feeding the fire, to make it look like mine.Keep feeding the stove one piece of wood at a time, feom time to time. Don't let the fire get small as the heat will go down fast and the fire will die out.Worth the money, kids can share with the fire too ( ofcourse with an adult provision)
