Whalen Furniture Kendal Solid Wood Desk Chair

I actually bought this to use as my desk chair at an old, antique roll-top desk I inherited from my father. Since the desk was dark, I wanted something dark that wouldn't look out of place. This chair is exactly what I needed. I put it together very quickly and am impressed by how solid the chair is. I did buy a cushion to go on the seat, though, since I sometimes spend several hours working at the desk. The chair was comfortable without the cushion, but it is even more comfortable now.The back isn't quite as comfortable because the middle bar hits me right in the middle of my back, but since I don't really lean back in the chair, it isn't a problem for me. I'm just mentioning it in case you do tend to lean back. You could easily affix a cushion to the back, however, and eliminate that, if the back hits you in the wrong place.
