We have installed various servers in these conversin kits, and so far, everyone we tried, fit. I'd encourage you to give them a try. It is much simpler than trying to install additional 2-post in front or behind existing 2-post, to achieve basically the same functionality [even worse, foklifting a 2-post, and replacing it with a cabinet]. Also, 2-post racks typically have round screw holes for "TelCo" style gear versus, these kits mount to the screw holes, and provide the square holes for typical server mounting brackets, so, two solutions in one. Good luck! **Q: Will the 2u kit safely hold 188lbs (ups battery cabinet)?** A: Hmm.. that I don't know; but, we installed tripplite 1500 with secondary 2RU battery pack, and it holds! **Q: Can i mount a dell poweredge r720 or r620 with rapid rails, with this kit?** A: I found the R620 with the rapid rails was too wide. The R620 measures 17 1/8" and each rail 5/8". As in the detailed product description, the posts of my rack measure approximately 17 3/8" apart, allowing just enough room for the R620 and one rail, but not two rails. I am a bit disappointed. Perhaps the R720 fits, but the R620 definitely does not. **Q: Is this part 2post-2ukit ?** A: One more thing... We strongly recommend you anchor the 2 post to the floor and use a ladder rack to anchor on the top and anchor securely the rear wall. this will prevent tipping. Remember to leave a minimum of 24" between the back of the 2post adapter and the wall so someone can get back there to do maintenance on equipment should the need come up. Better to bring it out a bit before anchoring it then discovering the chubby IT guy can't get to the network connector on the back of the server you just installed and powered up... :) :) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's definitely sturdy enough, and works as advertised *by C***B on July 14, 2017* It's definitely sturdy enough, and works as advertised. But there is a problem, that isn't due to how this specific product is made. What you may encounter with a set of rails meant for a 4 post rack, is that they're thicker than other rails due to how their sliders are assembled(the synology rail kit is an example of this) and as a result can't fit in a 2 post rack with this conversion kit installed because the posts being in the center are in the way of the rails.Again, not a problem with this product itself, that's an issue of some rail manufacturers that may pose an issue if you intend to use this kit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As described *by T***T on December 27, 2019* As described ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by B***K on February 22, 2018* Great product.
