The flashing colors are appropriate to indicate different groups or identify specific positions of team members quickly.

A: The battery is part of the unit, it is rechargable no issue with use....

**Q: When the light is in ir mode will it emit a faint red light like many other ir flashlights do?**
A: No, it won’t

**Q: How many nanometers does this shine when the infrared is turned on?**
A: I believe the IR wavelength is 950nM.  I read that somewhere.  For my uses, it works great.
