Review: Good quality - Feels solid and I don't notice any reduction in audio quality. Nice that there are so many hookups and it's somewhat modular. Be sure to order a mud ring to install with it.
Review: Good quality, excellent price. - If you go to a local home improvement place, you are lucky if you find anything similar, in fact I couldn't find it, you could only order them and they were not as complete and they were more expensive. This is a quality product, the only thing missing is a mounting bracket, but those are a couple of dollars and no wall plate ever comes with the mounting bracket. You can either connect the wires via twist and lock or you can use banana type connectors, either way, it works perfectly. I would recommend this for any professional grade home installation, even institutional one. My system is 7.1 so I didn't use the center channels, but that is OK because it wired it for maybe a future expansion. But at it stands it sounds perfect.

**Q: How do the banana plugs connect on the back? Bare wire or requires a banana plug on the back as well?**
A: You can connect the in-wall speaker wire to the other side of the banana jack using bare wire and the top of screw-on banana terminal (the part with the color-coded red or black paint).  You can do the same thing with the front of the banana plug.  I do not believe you can use banana plugs on both the front and the back of the jack as the plug itself has a long center shaft--using two, one from each side, will likely result in the two plug center shafts interfering with each other.  And, practically speaking, one doesn't need (or shouldn't want) a banana plug on the inside of the wall as one installed, the wires will not often need moved.  Banana plugs make connecting/diconnecting easy, so that really only matters on the outside of the wall.

**Q: Does this come as a 9.0 setup, with 9 banana ports? I have 9 speakers to attach to the plate, but I don't need the subwoofer ports.**
A: No,  it comes as the picture displays. 8 banana ports and 1 RCA.

**Q: Can u parallel speakers to multiple plates so u can remove receiver easily**
A: The coverplate is printed with typical speaker arrangement for 7.2 surround sound.  However there is no reason you can't arrange your speakers across more than one panel.  

Actually you can split the patch panel from a 3gang box to three 1-gang boxes if you wish.  

Very flexible.

**Q: What are the dimesions of the cut you make into dry wall?**
A: This goes in a standard three gang box
