Size:Bumper Mounting Kit Ta-da! This is what every hobby and pro-fabricator has been looking for when building a front bumper system for their 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler. This unit can be used by itself as a super-minimal, but still full-featured, Jeep bumper. Or... most people use these in addition to the standard rectangle box tubing rock bumpers. With this piece, all the work is already done, and done right! With provisions for weld-through clevis mounts, fog lights, and even an integrated winch mount (bolt on fairlead mount sold separately) this piece can't be beat! Made entirely of 3/16" high-grade steel plate and CNC cut and bent this unit will fit right over your stock frame rails and utilize all the stock holes on your frame. This piece will save time and make your bumper project look and perform like a high-dollar shop made it. This item is only compatible with TJ and YJ Wrangler (1987-2006 models).

Too easy to bend!
The bumper looks nice, and appears to be made out of 3/16" steel. All mounting holes aligned perfectly!! I installed the bumper on a 92 Jeep Wrangler with a 8000lb winch. Rolled out about 90 feet of cable, hit the ebrake and tied off at the base of a oak tree. Ebrake is lightly on to keep tension as this pull was straight across the backyard ( my wife will not be pleased when she sees what I did). Adjusted the ebrake so that the wheels would turn and not drag. About 20ft in, I notice the front end flexing quite a bit. The bumper is bending up from the rear, along with the washers under the bolts at both rear mounting points. Not too thrilled about this. Im going to have to heat it up, pound it back into shape and probably end up buying a purpose built 1/4" winch mount to go on top of it or somehow weld some gussets. As a base to build on, it is a good option. As a stand alone you would be better served by something thicker or constructed differently.

Happy with this bracket. It's nice and beefy and offers at least 6 attachment points for a YJ, Everything lined up great. You could use this as a bumper itself or weld some tubing to it , which is what I did. The attached pictures are of it right out of the box. I just wanted to make sure everything lined up prior to welding/paintingThis is a 5 star product, but I took a star off because the mfg printed out a shipping label and marked it shipped the day after I bought it , but it never actually shipped until the following week

This bumper is well formed and is thicker metal than the original. It can be used as a base for further fabrication too.

Great USA made product!
Great product right out of the box! Fit and finish is better than expected. Could be left like it is and used as a stand alone bumper, but can't wait to build onto it. Thanks AtoZ for a great product made in the USA.
