You can add acrylic paint or gelato's to the medium to create your own colors. You can also add color once the medium has dried. I have used this paste on a plastic stencil and the image came out very crisp, detailed. When dried the texture and design was raised fairly high and was very durable. Although I used a regular weight card stock will work, a heavier weight card stock would work better for the medium weight. Lighter weight is usually recommended for cards. I think the medium and heavier weights would be interesting on canvas. I would purchase this item again and would like to try some of the gel mediums.
