**Q: D3 -Is source fish?  Is that why bottle has certain smell to it?  Think it's fish smell, but kind of rancid.**
A: Our Vitamin D3 50 mcg (2000 IU) (B19939) contains Vitamin D sourced from lanolin (sheep's wool). Please also note that this product contains gelatin sourced from bovine (cow). These ingredients can give off a naturally occurring odor that does not affect the quality or potency of the product. We apologize for any inconvenience.

**Q: I wonder what is the gelatin source used? Is it Procain?**
A: Porcine

**Q: Are these water soluble or fat soluble ?**
A: Thank you for your interest in Sundown Naturals products! Vitamin D3 is a fat soluble vitamin.

**Q: when is the expiration date?**
A: It depends on the manufactured date. Mine was purchased March 2017, and the expiration date is December 2018.
