The tool was a little rough at first but after it has done a couple of bolts it isn't as grabby and worked great. watch the rpm's. **Q: where can i buy the larger version? But, Amazon has always been my "first source" since 2005. Thanks for asking! **Q: Does it work on hardened steel?** A: It worked great in stainless steel bolts. I chamfered 200 of them (1/4”) and the bit is still sharp. I doubt it would last long on hardened steel though. **Q: can the cutting edges be sharpened?** A: Dear Customer, the cutting edges of our drill bit can't be sharpened.
