In specific I wanted a light I could have near patio door (inside house) that would shine bright enough for me to place dogs in kennel area. I need to secure kennel gate correctly for the escape artist. I need to make sure water dish is full. I do this early morning and its dark at 0500. The problem with the actual patio spotlight is remembering to turn it off. Its switch is in a different room from door used for dogs.Too many times to count that spotlight would stay on for days. I saw these and decided to give them a try. They charge very fast. I tested them in my pitch black garage. I put them in different locations. Both units came on when I was about 4 feet away. I am pleased with them. They are not as bright as I would have liked. I do like the fact that they can be recharged. So having batteries on hand is one less worry for me. I am rating these 4 because I am concerned about durablity. These have thin plastic exteriors. So remaining intact after a fall is questionable. They worked fantastically. The magnets were perfect for cruise cabin walls and we were able to set one up in the room around ankle level. The light was sensitive enough to recognize my husband walking from the far side of the bed to light his path but not so sensitive that it would come on for no reason. I didnt take full note of the time the light stayed on but it seemed to be just the right amount for our needs. It wasn't so bright that it would wake the other person either.We only ended up using one of the set since we found a perfect spot for our cabin but if I thought of it before, I would have set the other up in the bathroom to provide just enough light for a middle of the night trip and to avoid turning on the big bright light.Im very happy with my purchase and will be keeping at least one with our travel supplies and plan to set up the other in our bedroom at home to help avoid tripping on our 3 dogs in the dark. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Small rechargeable lights *by J***M on Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2017* I was misled by the reviews. Several said these were bright enough for a closet. They aren't for my closet. If I guessed I would say my closet if 3x3, 2 lights aren't bright enough. I believe it also says super bright light in the description. So I am disappointed. I do love that they are rechargeable and auto sensor powered. They are brighter then the bigger battery powered push touch lights.
