I purchased the polished model and the high level of craftsmanship is clearly obvious. However, the kit did not contain the hardware for the 110 CVO's or Jim's big motors which seem the key overheating candidates for this product. The parts can be ordered from Jim's, I didn't want to wait and fabricated mine. I recommend all specific application parts be acquired prior to beginning installation... DUH!The full installation took ~4 hours including fab time (in a full equipped shop). The instructions are very through, well written and easily understood. To achieve the defined clearances, the rubber bumpers heights were adjusted and the mount points shimmed. If you want it done right, it's not a simple bolt-up but the instructions clearly cover or imply those requirements. The installed product looks as if it's original HD equipment -VERY NICE!During testing, the fan started and stopped as expected (during long traffic light cycles). Being winter, the ambient temperatures are not high enough to fully test the performance, however I'm confident it will help significantly. The fan noise was acceptable and barely noticed at idle above the moderate rumble of the D&D header.I rate the packaging as 5, installation as 4, fit and finish as 5 and performance as 4.5 (not fully evaluated yet). Overall a home run for Jim's.
