Best of all, the top portion of the shell folds to the back and into a triangle, with a small magnet to secure it, providing an easel at just the right angle for the device to lean against. When the shell is closed it is secured by the same small magnet. It is beautiful! I like this much more than the original brand case I purchased when I first bought the device. I got into a bad habit of slamming the shell shut and in short order there apeared a small crack in the shell on the bottom right. I now take it easy when closing the shell.
