Lest you entertain ideas, as did I, of using this bag to house a slightly modified 10/22,, banish that thought -- particularly if your forend assembly is much longer than the stock unit because you've added a muzzle device or aftermarket barrel -- think again.I have a Volquartsen takedown barrel and compensator, with the integral picatinny rail offset to overlap the receiver, and that unit at 20" will not fit into the barrel pouch.If you've got a fairly unmodified 10/22 that doesn't differ significantly from factory length, and you foresee the need to carry it on your back, this may be the bag for you.
