However, it proved to be a quality tripod during my trip to Japan. It was wrapped around a backpack handle every single day during our 2 and 1/2 week trip and it stayed put for over 12 hrs. I wrapped it around my bicycle handles while recording my ride on bumpy roads and hills and it stayed put the entire time. I held it out the window while driving about 50 mph on a windy road and my phone is still safe and sound.
