One day the dock failed completely. Too late to return it and it isn't even for sale anymore. So I ordered this AmazonBasics dongle, received it two days later, and I am back to using my large monitor. As with all AmazonBasics products, it seems, it is well made, properly engineered, and just works. I love buying things from Amazon with Amazon's name on it. Plug and play perfection. I have talked to engineers who have shown me that HDMI is not always the same. I can't tell you if this will work in every situation, but it worked perfectly for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works fantastically *by S***K on May 14, 2020* I have 3 Chrome devices - 2 Chromebooks and a Chromebox (a desktop). I bought 2 of these adapters over a year ago. One of them is used daily. The other goes with the Chromebook I take different places with me. I have never had an issue with either of these. And, one of them gets used on many different televisions.I have not had any of the problems some have listed in their lower reviews. The price has gone up a few dollars since I bought both of mine over a year ago. But, I would definitely recommend this model. Did not need to install any drivers or anything. I had messed around with other adapters that required installing Chinese drivers found on the device itself, or downloaded from a website I couldn't read. They worked on other machines (Win 7) but not the new Lenovo.
