The spidif it self does not support the microphone audio to be send. I have been using the blutooth for skype calls and online gaming and it works. Hope this helps. **Q: does this work for xbox 360** A: Yes, it works with anything with a USB port and an optical in, xbox should have those, it even works with my tv because it has those, I'm able to watch nascar races in full Dolby surround while my girlfriend is doing homework, totally worth every penny. **Q: I have had nothing but issues with the chat volume, for some reason I can not adjust it. Im on my third headset, is there something that I am not do** A: I have found that it depends on the type of headset the OTHER person is using as to whether it comes through as "chat" volume. If you cannot change their volume, the other player can adjust their output volume through the audio settings. I had one friend in particular that I could adjust fine then he got a new headset and then I couldn't adjust him, he went in and adjusted to my liking from audio settings. The charge supposedly lasts 15 hours...I haven't tested it fully, but I've gotten 10 hours at least before I plugged it in (it didn't need to be recharged).
