Non-genuine battery. Seller refused refund. The phone looked fine on arrival. However, from day one, iOS showed a warning that the battery could not be verified as genuine — no battery health percentage was ever displayed. I didn’t fully understand what this meant at the time. Three months later, the screen detached completely while my daughter was at school — no drop, no impact, just taken out of a pocket. The screen fell off and cracked at the corners, making the phone unusable. Once the screen came off, the non-genuine battery was clearly visible inside. I contacted the seller requesting a refund. They refused and offered only a repair — for a phone that was sold with undisclosed non-genuine parts and an improperly secured screen. This device was not properly refurbished. It was not as described.
