Like the description says, and it's silk screened on the reader too, this seems to be Windows-only. It was not recognized by two different Mac computers. It emulates a HID keyboard device, so I'm not sure why it would make a difference. The read range is slightly less than anticipated and it had trouble reading a couple Mifare classic tags that another brand reader had no problem with. You'll notice a sea of lookalikes on desertcart, but they have subtle differences.
