In the last 4 years, both had increased tenfold. I finally had to give in, be seen, & get myself put on some medication for my depression (Wellbutrin), but since I'm super sensitive to medications and it took close to a year to find a medication for my depression that worked, I was very hesitant to try any anxiety medications and had just been dealing with increasing anxiety instead. A friend had recommended this supplement to me as she said it has done wonders for her, and after starting it myself, I couldn't agree more. I was skeptical at first, since many supplements out there aren't the cure-all of conditions, and I figured it would just be a placebo effect, but Mind Trac has completely changed things for me. Some reviews below say it shouldn't be taken if you suffer from both depression & anxiety which is one reason I was worried about giving it a try, but I guess it depends on what medication you're on & the individual person because it's helped me a TON. I find myself not overthinking every little thing, and being able to concentrate a little better on the task at hand, rather than having my mind go a million miles a minute, and there is a major difference if I forget to take it. It does NOT get rid of my anxiety 100%, but it does bring it to a reasonable and manageable level to where I feel like I can function like a normal human being again... I truly feel like I've finally been able to be myself & get my life back since I started taking this. I started off with 1 capsule once a day, then 1 twice a day, then increased to 2 in the morning and 1 at night, then 3 in the morning and 1 at night, and now I only take the 1 at night if needed. I currently take 3 capsules in the morning before work, 2 capsules on days I'm not working or have off, and I'll take 1-2 at dinner if I'm feeling anxious about something going on the next day; it tends to help me relax & sleep better. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It really works, don't give up! *by R***E on August 9, 2018* I have been using this product off and on for over 10 years and it has changed my life. I was diagnosed with depression at a young age and have generalized anxiety. I took Lexapro for a long time, which eventually stopped working, and I tried pristiq for a year or more and hated it. I was persuaded to return to mindtrac by my mom (those of us who struggle with lifelong depression often deny the need for any meds, especially when we feel better) and I'm so glad I did. I literally never want to be without it again (I keep 2-3 bottles around at all times so I don't forget to take it). I take two capsules in the morning and evening (with food) and that keeps me leveled out. No ruminating. No downward spiral. No anxiety. No mental fog. Sometimes I take an additional dose at lunch if I'm under stress. I've read other reviews for people who say it has not helped their depression, but at this price, it's worth the effort to try. I will also say that depending on how bad your depression and anxiety are, it may take several weeks to have a full effect (4-6), just like a regular prescription. I usually notice a difference within 20 minutes if it's been a while, but it takes about a month to realize the full benefits. That said, it may not work for everyone and it does have valerian root in it, which is a known sleep aid. So start out with one or two capsules and work your way up if needed, especially if you're senstive to meds. Good luck! Not sedating at all. Great alternative to SSRI or anti-anxiety medication. _____________________________________________________________________ Just wanted to do an update on this stuff. I know take two pills 3 times a day and it works so well. I know so many of us are under a lot of stress and pressure. Many of us resort to taking anti anxiety medication, but there are so many side effects. Mindtrac is so much safer and good for you. It keeps my anxiety under control and helps me make it through the day. This does not make me drowsy or groggy at all, even when taking it 3x a day. It helps me have a calm and relaxed feeling while keeping my mind sharp.
