Review: Makes cutting biltong easy - Even tough biltong is easily cut by this. You can get shavings even. After struggling with cutting home made biltong using a knife (one of the hardest parts of the process), this makes it fairly effortless. I've only owned it a short time, but the quality seems decent and the way the little tray connects magnetically is helpful for cleaning and storage. The rubber grips on the bottom stop it from slipping. No complaints so far.

**Q: Can you use it on raw, or semi frozen meat?**
A: It would definitely work on semi frozen meat. If your wanting to slice meat thin for something like jerky, it's best to slightly freeze it first. It could work for raw meat, but I don't think it would work as well as a good sharp knife.

**Q: Will it cut tillamok block of cheese?**
A: I don't know what kind of cheese that is, but I've used mine to thinly slice brick hard biltong lol!! With the sharp blade and the leverage I think it'll do.

**Q: Will it cut through solid bone like say pork ribs?**
A: No unless you want to damage it
