Bonide Vine & Stump Killer With Applicator Concentrate 8 Oz, 2 Pack

I have used this product before and was not able to find this brand in any local stores. This product works great and comes with its own applicator. Before ordering I read a negative review stating upon arrival the containers had leaked out inside the shipping box. This was a concern, but when my order arrived, both bottles were intact with no issues. I have three acres of mostly woods and I am very glad that I was able to obtain this brand of Vine and Stump for this gardening season

The product takes some time to work, but it does kill raspberry and blackberry bushes. I snip them off, painted the end with the attached brush, and waited. In a few weeks I can go out and pull them out of the ground (I have pretty loose garden soil). I knew it was working since the leaves on the stumps were yellowing and the cut tips were browning down a few inches. I ordered the two pack and my only complaint was that one of them leaked and the inside of the box was wet on one side. Otherwise, I would have rated a 5 star for the product alone. I'm sure some bushes will come back in the spring, but I will just repeat the easy procedure.

I waited over a month after use to make certain the product works. It has worked on blackberry vines, small volunteer privet, other small volunteer trees, honeysuckle vines, as well as other invasive vines.

We have been working to thin out areas of our yard that have a large number of young trees coming up, including a small grove of magnolias. I was skeptical when I first got this stump killer, but it worked. Not only did it prevent new sprouts, but it also killed the stump with only a small application of the liquid. A month after applying it, I could just pull these saplings out of the ground. I have since used it on larger structures, like old boxwoods. No new stems, and after a month and a half, I could easily dig up the roots. I now keep at least one bottle around at all times.

Have not had the time to see if the product works, but we used it on blackberry cane's and other thorny vines last weekend.The way it was packaged was inadequate. I had read reviews and several had said the chemical leaked. Mine was taped around the lids and it still leaked on other items. This is a known issue. This should be shipped separately and the manufacturer should improve the bottles.

This product is great for woody plants provided you cut the shrub / tree as close to the ground as possible and try to cut some vertical slashes into the trunk as well. Paint the cuts liberally.The only reason I've given it three stars was because it arrived at my house leaking.

It looks good. Just started to use it. will update.I drilled many hole on the stump and put alot on the stump. It has been a couple of days. But hasn't started working yet. will update.5/13/2014, It has been more the a month. I applied 4-5 times and I finished one bottle. some one said it worked in a couple of days. This miracle didn't happen this time. if it works in a couple of months I'll be very happy. I bought 4 bottles. Just hope 4 bottles will do the trick. will update.I have used all 4 bottles. I can see the color is changed. I have to say it starts working. not a couplt of days but it took a few months. When can I remove the stump? that's a big question. I just hope I can remove the stump some day.
