Review: Great push pins for gator board and pinboard - I purchased these pushpins to use with my United States travel map. For me, the pinhead size is extremely important. The more common small pin heads are hard to see on my map, which was unacceptable for me. I would have gone up to .25 inch pinhead if the map was bigger than 24 x 36. These pins are very sharp and stay in place. The color depicted is a great representation of what the actual color is. I have moved this map a couple times and none of the pins have fallen out. For full disclosure, my map is a canvas wrapped travel map backed with gator board, so the pins should not fall out easily. I do have a pinboard map and tested these pins with it and they stayed on when I moved the map, which is more that I can say for the majority of the other pins that I used. If you want your map pins to stay in place, these are the pushpins for you!
