Impress Your Friends. *by S***E on February 25, 2024* I have been playing in my city's dart league for 30+ years. This first was ring light I ever used was the Mission Torus 270 at a VFW hall. I was immediately struck by the lack of shadows on the board. There has been a trend over the past few years for more and more ring light setups at "away" venues. It always stuck in the back of my brain how the guys at VFW kept talking up the 270's design for the missing bottom 90Β° section when collecting your darts. Without a doubt, this is an asset, not a missing part.When I moved into my new house, decided to ditch installing the (hot) halogen ceiling mounted track lights in lieu of a (cool) LED ring light . Holy cow, what an improvement! The board is so much easier to see and read now. I also mounted a new Winmau Blade 6 Triple Core Carbon board with Rota-Lock system. Between the two systems, I can rotate my board in a matter of a couple of minutes, ensuring a flush, secure and shadow-free setup.
