**Q: What is the diameter of the padlock hole**
A: The diameter of the padlock is 3/8".

**Q: Does this comes with both latch pin assembly and pin reciever?**
A: Yes. Just no attachments for the pin receiver to the gate post. I welded mine on for less of a gap.

**Q: Would this latch be sturdy enough to secure a double, tube type farm gate?  What is the minimum distance required between the gate and post?**
A: I think it would be strong enough but the doors would need to be within two or 3 inches of each other for it to reach. This is more for a rolling gate than a double door
