It is a green-tinted oil with golden shades, presenting excellent organoleptic properties and high digestibility, superior to that of seeds, butter, fat and lard.

Review: Bold peppery oil with strong flavor profile. - I love this oil - bold flavor, nice & peppery. If you don't like a strong olive oil you won't like this. I find it delicious for dipping bread into and drizzling over pizza before baking it, or afterward just out of the oven. Could also be used for cooking meats & vegs but it's not cheap so if you go thru lots of oil, get a cheaper brand for cooking & save this for drizzling/dipping. It's twice the price that I paid for it in my grocery in NYC so it's pricey here but I'm down in SC for covid and needed a hometown fix for a treat. Couldn't find locally. Would buy again.

In 2014, in response to Congressional Appropriations committees concerns:  "The Committee is concerned with reports that consistently describe the prevalence of adulterated and fraudulently labeled olive oil imported into the United States and sold to American consumers. In addition, some products labeled as olive oil may contain seed oil, which poses a serious health risk to consumers who are allergic to seed oil. The Committee directs the FDA to take a sampling of imported olive oil to determine if it is adulterated or misbranded.
In 2014, FDA performed a survey of olive oil products available to consumers within the United States, and included a cross-section of domestic and imported products in the survey. FDA used USDA grading standards in the assessment and used an analytical methodology capable of detecting 10 percent seed oil adulteration. Out of 88 products surveyed, only three showed evidence of adulteration."  The FDA continues to monitor olive oil. Trump did not win reelection, pigs don't fly, the Earth is not flat. I love this oil - bold flavor, nice & peppery. If you don't like a strong olive oil you won't like this. I find it delicious for dipping bread into and drizzling over pizza before baking it, or afterward just out of the oven. Could also be used for cooking meats & vegs but it's not cheap so if you go thru lots of oil, get a cheaper brand for cooking & save this for drizzling/dipping. I think the flavor of this Olive Oil is really good. The price of this brand keeps rising. My first bottle came in at $16, my second bottle was $20. I think it's at $22 now. A good product but it's getting a tad expensive as an everyday use Olive Oil.
