It has 7 slots that give you 7 viewing angles (in landscape mode).It is sturdy, but not overly heavy or bulky.The cutouts are perfectly aligned and I don’t have any problem plugging the charger in.The iPad turns off when you close the lid and turns back on when you open the lid.Two minor things when using the iPad in landscape mode (so you can look at the iPad at an angle):The “home button” ends up on the right sideThe volume buttons are reversed (volume up is on the left and volume down is on the right)I think I have the case on as designed because the cutout sizes match the openings on my iPad (so these cutouts seem to be designed like this).I say these are minor issues because I will probably get used to these quirks.And really minor is that I wish it were available in other colors. This case is great, as described. Found 2 flaws in the purple case that i received (it's more of a mauve than purple) & contacted ZUGU who responded quickly & replaced the case (i took pictures of the flaws as soon as i took it out of the packaging.) So far, the case is perfect, strong, quite durable, meets my needs. Company is as responsive as others have mentioned & their customer service is excellent.One recommendation, I think the elastic strap is unnecessary & very flimsy - the magnets are already so strong so it keeps the case closed, but once the elastic strap is used, it becomes so limp that it gets in the way when not used. I had already decided I would end up with something plain & homely ! But happily that's not the case ! I got the high functioning case with a magnetic stand that holds its position firmly ! One week after I put it on my I-Pad Pro , I accidentally knocked it off my Foyer table on to Marble & I was nervous picking it up but the case protected it perfectly! I was surprised to find that it's a beautiful case in Purple no less ! I had assumed it would be black or grey but Ladies , it's really sleek with a super tight fit ! My Leather were always a little lose but this is like second skin ! Everything lines up the way it should so I know a lot of time when into the design plus someone cared enough to make sure quality control standards were kept in check !
