But I'd really prefer to sleep in a dark room. These little stickers may be applied to indicator lights to dim their output to a manageable level. LightDims come in a few colors- I have white to put on white devices including my iPhone charging base. They also come in black, which I use to dim the very bright light on my Epson printer. There is also an amber version, that simply filters out all the blue light- I haven't tried that one yet. The stickers may be applied in layers, and there are a few devices, like my Epson printer, where I've used two layers to achieve the right level of light filtering. It is possible, also, to remove light dims cleanly, and even re-apply them more than once. LighDims do not block out all light from an indicator light. They just tone down how much light is emitted. It’s so annoying and keeps us up at night. The black was a bit too dark but the white worked out GREAT! I can’t believe such a product exists and am super thankful. A few things to start. This product of Genuine LIGHTDIMS has small shapes. I don't think these small shapes are going to cover the size you need covered. But to be clear you can NOT use our products on Halogen lights as Halogen are too hot. But if you had an overhead light that was LED based I have 2 options in the links below. 1 is warm and 1 is neutral. They both dim and soften the light. Ok I have a few more products you may like but I did not note them 1st because on cheap Chinese made, low CRI rating strip lights which are very common sometimes there is a color shift with our WhiteDims LightDims. But the White DIms are actually preferable for your needs in my opinion because they not only dim like the products above but they soften the lights which makes them extremely desirable. But as I said on LOW CRI rated cheap strip lights there can be an undesirable color shift if and only if you apply the WhiteDims directly on top of the LED strip lights LED. If a color shift occurs the only solution is to get some sort of gap between the LED strip light by about 1 or 3 mm then the problem goes away if there was a problem in the first place. Some customers have a plastic cover over the strip to begin with, if you have that there is no risk of a color shift. Thank you!!!!!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for diffusing the light, but not dimming it much *by M***. on November 19, 2024* The black Light Dims do a very good job dimming lights, but these white ones are a bit less effective. I used three layers of these, but they did not have much impact dimming the light.
