It twists a lot, which ultimately leads to kinks. It’s not as bad as my past hoses. You just have to fight it a little sometimes. **Q: Can you drink water out of the hose?** A: JoAnn, We generally advise that hoses with the aluminum couplings are safe to drink from after a little water goes through to clean out any bugs or random dirt, and to cool the water and end piece. After 6 months it still looks new living outside in the New Zealand weather (lots of sun, rain and wind).
