A: Sealer should be used before painting. The paint will have to be sealed after the paint has cured.

**Q: Is this non-toxic for plants?**
A: This product is non toxic after it has dried. But it has not been approved for use on containers that will have eatables growing it them. Not for contact with food.

**Q: If you are painting the pot, would you put this on before you paint?**
A: This product is used to seal terracotta pots that have not been painted.

**Q: Do you also spray the inside of the pot?**
A: Yes you should seal the entire pot.
