A: HPF Pro Gearcase Lube normally doesn't specify weight, it's more of a "standard" but they say it is in the 75W-90 range.

**Q: Will this work for my 2011 evinrude 300 etec?**
A: Absolutely

**Q: will this work in my 1973 Evinrude 85 hp lower unit?**
A: This will work. It's a lot better than the gear lube they had in 1973. You can save money by going with a conventional lower unit gear lube, just change it regularly.
