Need to tweak Macbook configuration *by C***V on Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2017* All ports work except for the Ethernet Port with my MacBook Pro 2016 which was is very important for me. I tried to locate a manufacturer website to see if there is a driver I can download and can't find any reference to this product; now where to be found. Nothing relevant shows up in Google either. I have sent an email to Unicshop who sold this to me to see how do they respond. Based on that I will give an Update to this review. Other than that the product is very well built and of quality although expensive and all ports should be fully functional out of the box.UPDATEI was able to troubleshoot myself and make it work. If you have a MacBook Pro this is what you need to do:1. Open Network Preferences.2. On the listed connectivity devices select Thunderbolt Adapter.3. On the bottom select the "gear" icon and select "Manage Virtual Interfaces".4. On the pop-up window it should be already pre-selected Thunderbolt Bridge.5. On the bottom of the pop-up window, press the "pencil" icon.6. From the listed options make sure you select at least the USB 10/100/1000 LAN.7. Close windows and now in Network Preferences select Apply.8. Good functionality, and it's probably great for anything up to a 13" MB Pro +Touchbar, since they only require 60 watts. However, for me, it's no-go because I have the 15" Pro +Touchbar, and it needs 87 watts. This adapter only puts out 51. For reference, according to system report, the Apple AV adapter put in with the 12" Macbooks gives out 55 watts.These kinds of things are CRUCIAL to know, especially if you're like me, and you know you're going to be pushing the performance envelope.
