They are great so far- smooth and easy to use, with comfortable, colourful handles that also help you distinguish sizes once you get used to them. I did loads of research before choosing, and I think that they are the best I could have found at such a reasonable price. You can pay a bomb for crochet hooks and I am not a professional. However I am experienced, and they are very good. There are many sizes, the metal goes all the way through the handle so wont break, and they are not coated (I was worried about flaking). People commented on other sets that the numbers rub off (these are moulded in) and that they sometimes had no difference between one size and the next (these are all well graded). The stitch holders and needles, and a little finger ring cutter are very useful. And so is the carry case. All in all, a very good purchase which I recommend highly.I haven't used them yet. Overall they look good, and a brilliant price. A few of the bigger hooks have areas of slight roughness or markings from manufacture on the inner edge of the hook. I don't know yet if it will affect the smoothness when working. I'm hoping if needed I can polish it smooth with very fine grade glass paper or a polishing tool (jeweller in the family) since they are pure aluminium hooks. The handles seem great. I like the texture and comfort of grip. Some brands had feedback about numbers rubbing off, but these numbers are moulded in. They are pretty colours too. Overall, I am very pleased and looking forward to using them. I also contacted the seller and their communication was fast and helpful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very pleased with this set! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 July 2025* Honestly I am so happy with this crochet set. I was having problems using my regular metal crochet hooks as my hands don’t seem as nimble as they once were and I was constantly fumbling and my fingers slipping. This set is perfect: extremely comfortable with excellent grip, and the sizing is accurate so far. They also seem pretty sturdy and the additional extras were welcome especially as I’m forever losing my markers! The bag is lovely and fit the set well. It also reminds me of my Grandma’s old knitting needle bag, just smaller, which is a bonus!Really good value for money too. Recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good price and has everything I needed *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 26 June 2026* Good kit with everything I needed and a handy case. Good price too. ## Frequently Bought Together - RealPlus 12 Sizes Crochet Hooks Set for Arthritic Hands, Ergonomic Soft Grip Handles, Crochet Kit for Beginners, Christmas Gifts for Women, Large Crochet Needle with Blue Case - Yexixsr 566PCS Safety Eyes and Noses for Amigurumi, Stuffed Crochet Eyes with Washers, Craft Doll Eyes and Nose for Teddy Bear, Crochet Toy, Stuffed Doll and Plush Animal (Various Sizes) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pe/products/396900783-realplus-crochet-hooks-set-12-pcs-full-size-crochet-hook](https://www.desertcart.pe/products/396900783-realplus-crochet-hooks-set-12-pcs-full-size-crochet-hook) --- *Product available on Desertcart Peru* *Store origin: PE* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
