Although I don't want a large dinner plate, I do wish there were just slightly bigger, like maybe 10.5" or 11". I would order only 1-2 plates at a time because if there are more than that in the box the weight can make them crack if the box is dropped. The person who delivered mine tossed the box onto my porch and it fell with a big thud (I was there); when I opened the box one plate was broken.
