These filters trap pet dander, fur, dust, smoke, and eliminate ammonia and chemical odors in the air. Trust me, we have 8 indoor cats and a large dog that sheds a lot and I am allergic to all of them, but so long as I have my IQ Air filter, I am just fine. We live in a cattle town wirh feedlots all around and the air quality outside is disgusting. Sometimes the smell is so strong it makes me dry-heave in my yard. But inside?
