This manual satisfies two needs for students and teachers using The Art of Electronics as a text: • It sets forth 23 laboratory exercises that can form the backbone of a one- or two-semester course in electronics, both analog and digital • It supplements the text's explanations of selected topics which have been chosen for their importance to a student, rather than a practitioner who uses the text as a reference. The manual is a product of many years' teaching at Harvard University, where the authors have tested and refined both lab exercises and explanations. If you got your copy of the main text ("The Art of Electronics") - this is the perfect companion. Some of it is outdated (e.g. the 68008 labs) - but nevertheless a good intro into digital processing. The analog labs and examples are timeless. Can't wait for the 3.rd ed. of the main text, which is overdue!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Extremely Useful

Extremely useful book. I bought this as a required text for a college course. But you don't need a college degree to get a lot of mileage from this. The book starts with Ohm's law and resistors and takes you through the entire scope of electronics. By the end you'll be building computers from scratch. Special sections on high frequency circuits and low voltage devices. I commonly return to this text to refresh my knowledge and solve problems that arise at work. If you're interested in tinkering with electronics I highly recommend it. The concrete example circuits are helpful, as are the examples of common mistakes.
