Product description The ASR Tactical Non-Metallic Covert Zirconia Ceramic Razor Blade was designed as a low profile, covert operations tactical knife that has been adopted for every day carry as it is easily carried without any added bulk. There have been many versions of this ceramic razor blade over time but this latest version, the ASRT-CRB is to date the one you want. It is constructed from zirconia ceramic, which is very sharp, wear resistant and non-dulling; this non-metallic knife will continue to stay sharp and cut well with continued use. It has a lifespan that is greatly increased over older versions due to advances in ceramic materials technologies. The main cutting surface of the razor blade features a chisel-grind edge that gives you a much more acute angle than a double-sided grind. It will cut better and hold its edge longer, which is what you want a knife to do when cutting rope, zip ties or duct tape in counter-custody situations. A built in lanyard hole provides a means for this micro escape knife to be sewn into clothing, attached to your belt, waistline, tactical gear or shirt using natural kevlar thread. In total, this non metal knife is smaller than a American quarter and can prove to be life saving when needed in emergency survival situations. A: It is NON-metallic. It will not set off a metal detector which detects metal

**Q: Would this blade work on a ferro rod to create a spark to start a fire?**
A: I believe it will. Any material harder than your chosen ferro rod will create a spark when used as a striker.

**Q: Does it come with the quarter?**
A: No Quarter...It's just to show its size

**Q: Does this blade come with a sheath?**
A: No it does not. It comes I'm a small tube for shipping though. This blade is extremely small. Intended to hide in a watch band or sewn in behind a button on a shirt

This razor is extremely sharp and comes delivered in a small plastic tube. If you haven't figured it out from the other reviews, yes, the blade is small. But, that's the point - it's the "Covert Hide-Out Ceramic Razor Blade". Emphasis on covert. It's not intended to be an everyday use item. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A LARGER BLADE TO USE FREQUENTLY - YOU WILL NOT BE PLEASED.
