It seems tal.** A: The wheels are plastic but very durable. Dad walks 1/2 to 1 full mile daily with it. The larger wheels make it easier to use on grass and other terrain. The walker is well balanced and stable. We don’t consider it to be top heavy. It is height adjustable, my dad is 89 years of age and 6 foot with balance issues and we have it fully extended. He enjoys the seat, cup holder and storage compartment. It’s easy to fold by just lifting the seat. My 87 year old mother easily puts it in and out of the car for him. The company is reliable too. We had an issue and they quickly sent a replacement. Brakes are also easily adjusted. I feel it’s a great product and a good company to do business with. While you can sit on it...brakes intact... if you needed to move forward like a wheelchair, you can "scoot" short distances using your feet, but because of the swiveling front wheels, I do not feel it stable enough to use as a wheel chair. Wheel chairs have a different balance to them than the walker. This walker is a definite Cadillac Limo as compared to the general walkers out there on the market...well worth the investment! If I need another one six years from now, I'll buy it again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rugged and safe *by B***B on 3 March 2024* I bought this for my 94-year-old father. He recently moved into assisted living. He'd been using one of those inexpensive front-wheel aluminum walkers with a pair of tennis balls on the back to act as skids. He's mentally sharp as a tack but has difficulty walking, especially with losing stamina. He can only walk a few dozen feet before he needs a break and is hunting for a chair. One morning at breakfast I saw this walker parked outside the dining room, and I was very impressed with how rugged and well made it looked. So, I snapped a photo of it and did a Google image search to find it. This walker has made a world of difference for him. He's out and zipping around the building a lot more. He uses the seat to take breaks when he's tired, and the seat doubles as a table if he needs to carry something. We reviewed the "correct" way to use a rollator-walker to ensure he was safe. I found a really good video on Youtube called "How to use a walker with a seat the RIGHT way". It's by "Your PT Guy". I highly recommend it. He's funny, and he goes over everything you need to know not to get hurt. I think the only negatives I have for this rollator are that it is heavy and awkward to lift when folded. To fold it, lift the handle on the underside of the seat, and the frame folds together with the front and rear wheels coming together. It's like a folding dining chair. The handles also fold inward. But it's still big and kind of awkward. This is more an issue for me or whoever he is traveling with, not so much for him, as he will never lift it into a trunk. I don't mind, but I could see an older, petite woman struggling with it. Another thing I like is that the wheels are solid rubber. That, combined with the weight of it, helps it hold position on the floor when the parking breaks are engaged.
