**Q: What is the size (length) and extension length of the gas cylinder, if we need to buy a replacement?**
A: The gear is under the seat and does not extend past it.  But please reconsider purchase.  We had both of these welded at the base because the wobbled so bad.  And they squeak every time we move in the seat.  We are not overweight people. The one rod design for support is just not the best.

**Q: Could these chairs be somewhat tippy ?**
A: We purchased these chairs 4 months ago.  They are tippy already.  They squik. They are difficult to pull in to the table.  The chair itself was comfortable in the beginning.  But now the seat is at an uncomfortable tilt.  We will not purchased a chair that sits on just one leg again.

**Q: Are these chairs for tall bars?**
A: Hello, the height can be easily adjusted from 29.5"-40.5" by raising the lever under the seat.

**Q: Is this water resistant ?**
A: Hello, The chair is not waterproof, but it is easy to clean. If the chair is dusty, you can tap it with your hands. If the chair is stained, you can wipe it off with a clean cloth dampened with water to avoid leaving marks.

These barstools are super comfortable and made in a soft material. Easy to assemble. The brushed antiqued metal finish looks great and accents the material nicely. Only reason for the 4 stars is the base is a little light and kids, or adults horsing around could knock it over and fall.
