Do they retain their blue/green color? Would they be ok to use on a craft project, or will they rot eventually?** A: Just took a look at my juniper berries which are a deep purple/reddish brown color, certainly not blue/green as I see them. They are dry, so probably wouldn't deteriorate or spoil. The one thing we both laughed about was, the label doesn't say it's juniper berries, because it looks like that part of the label was covered.
